5th annual Bispop Gallery Christmas Party
Sunday, November 30th, 2pm - 5pm

Join us as we celebrate five years of being around & for the first look at new art & goods from Mr. Biskup! In addition to a bunch of new original paintings (including several Jackson 500 paintings!), we will be offering custom painted vinyl figures, new tee shirts, a new hand-colored print & much more!!!

Holiday Party This Sunday!

4th annual Bispop Gallery Christmas Party
Sunday, December 16th, 2pm - 5pm

Join us in Old Towne Pasadena for a glass of champagne to celebrate the release of a brand new print edition. There will also be original art available, plus a few surprises! Tim will be on hand to sign books including the latest volume (#3) of his Jackson 500 series. Here are the details:

"Injected" print: The original painting was part of Tim's recent "Ether" exhibition. The print is being released as a signed & numbered edition of 50. Here's the image:

Holiday Party This Saturday!

All items are first-come, first-served. All limited edition items are limited to one per household.

Bispop Exclusive HOT/COLD Big Pollard Set

This set of two unpainted figures (One is Vermillion, One is Turquoise) is limited to only 30! A total of 60 of each figure were produced with the remaining 30 of each color being custom painted by Mr Biskup. In addition to the unpainted sets we will have a few of the custom painted versions available for sale! (Note: these will not be available online!)

FYI: in the coming months the first two factory painted versions of Big Pollard will be released. They are both made from vermillion colored vinyl, but have different paint jobs. They will each be limited to editions of 250. Here's a picture:

Town Crier QEE Bear � Los Angeles Version

Limited to only 100! The LA version is the final release in the series. These will also be on sale from Flopdoodle.com this Saturday at noon.

Bispop Exclusive Circus Punks

These black haired versions of Tim�s �Garden Devil� and �Zombie Killer� punks are each limited to only 50! Each one is signed and numbered! They will be available as a set or individually.

Tim and his daughter Tigerlily will each have a customized mini Circus Punk in the �Out Of Vogue In LA� group show that opens at the same time as the Bispop Party.

Watch The Paint Fly!

Tim will Join forces with fellow artists Gary Baseman, Brian Barneclo & Greg �P-nut� Galinsky for an all day painting project. The artists will take over a portion of the Johnson Mototrs/Bispop space to create several paintings while you watch! Later that night, a selection of the original paintings will be auctioned off to the highest bidders!

The event will take place Friday, September 16th, from 10AM to 10PM. The auction will happen at 8PM. There may be some very special guests & other surprises! Don�t miss this event! Oh, yeah... Free Booze!

"Rat Den" Print Release Party!

On Saturday, May 14th from 6 to 9pm Bispop Gallery will host a party to celebrate the release of a new Biskup print (as well as a few surprises!).



Because of the enourmous demand for Bispop store exclusive prints they are offered to a limited number of buyers via a lottery system. This print is no different, although instead of a lottery we will be having a live craps game to determine buyers. Here are the rules:
On the night of the party each attendee who is interested in buying the print will be given a number. The craps game starts at 7pm. Each participant will roll the dice according to the traditional rules of craps. Here are the rules:

Shooter rolls 2 die

1st roll: 11 or 7 wins! 2,3 or 12 loses. Any other number becomes the "point".

After 1st roll: If the shooter rolls the "point" number before a 7 shooter wins! Roll a 7 before the "point" & shooter loses.

The print will be offered to any player who "wins". We will continue through the cycle of numbers until all of the prints being offered are sold.
This print is a store exclusive, although a few will be offered to online buyers through a separate lottery. If you are chosen we will get in touch the following day to let you know how to proceed.

"Wrecker Panda" Figure/Print Release Party!

Come Celebrate Guy Fawkes Night at the Bispop Gallery.
Friday, November 5th from 6pm � 9pm
The first of Tim�s two new 8� vinyl bear figures from Hong Kong, "Wrecker Panda", will be available along with a new 5-color serigraph print called "Wrecker Mantra". The figure & print will be sold together as a set from Bispop Gallery & Flopdoodle.com starting on the night of the event.
The figure is being released at the Toy2R Expo in Tokyo, Japan on October 16. Tim will be there to shake hands and sign stuff. He will be returning with a limited number of the figures. Though the edition is 500 (same as the Deco-Plague Qee Cat) it will not be as widely distributed in the US. The ones that we will be selling will ALL be signed on the box & include the print. The set will sell for $150.00. The unsigned figure alone will sell for $85.00 elsewhere.

UPDATE!

Wrecker prints WRECKED!
The nature of the �Wrecker� set has been changed. Tim has decided to literally destroy the entire edition of the �Wrecker Mantra� prints. We are not sure why he decided to do this, but he explained that they will be used as packaging for yet another print. The new print has yet to be named, but features an image of Helper holding a large axe! To further push the destruction theme, Tim went through a giant pile of �slightly defective� prints & chopped them into smaller pieces. Some of the prints in that pile had been piling up in his archives for nearly 20 years! There were misprinted versions of nearly every print that Tim has ever done! The pieces of the prints will be included in the new version of �Wrecker Mantra� which will be packaged in a book-like format. Each set will include between 5 & 20 randomly chosen fragments. The price & edition size remain the same.

"Night Light", an Iris/Giclee print in an edition of only 25, is now sold out.

There was a bit of confusion on opening night regarding this print. Here's the info:
As with all editions, we keep a certain number of copies aside for archives. In this case 5 copies were held back. Every once in a while we will release one through the store. The price will, of course, go up. That's how our business works. 6 copies of the print were sold to friends of Tim's. The other 14 were offered at the opening party through the lottery drawing. We gave out 74 tickets. 5 of the ones that were drawn were for people who got tickets & did not stay for the drawing. There were several people who were very upset by the process. We are very sorry for the confusion. We will try to be more up-front about things in the future. The other edition that was released is a ceramic version of Tim's "Stack Pack" toy set. The "cocktail set" was sculpted & produced by Munktiki. This first edition is limited to only 25 sets in a pale blue glaze.

We did a lottery drawing for these as well, but, only 6 sets were actually finished. We will be recieving more as they are finished. We should have more in stock by the end of the week. If you got a ticket on opening night & you still have it, take it to the store this week & you will be able to buy it or will be put on a list to buy the set when it arrives.

What is Johnson Motors?

Opening it's doors in 1936, Johnson Motors was an automotive distributor that specialized in Ariel and Triumph motorcycles. They were one of the first US companies to present British Motorcycles in the US. This daring direction was risky, but quickly made the company a resounding success. The current store is a re-incarnation of the company that follows in the spirit of the original. They don't carry motorcyles. The store is an eclectic mix of vintage automotive books, clothing, artwork & pop culture memorabilia. The store, like the original, has been met with resounding success. In September, the store will expand to more than double it's size. Bispop Gallery will be located within the new location.
